Championship Season Is Around the Corner Alpine • February 27, 2026|||February tested everyone — We saw record warm temperatures force early cancellations, followed by long-awaited storms that delivered plenty of snow, just not always at the right time. The park has been great and we've been lucky to have such great training with all the sunshine (sorry Freeride). We started the new year off by traveling to Aspen for a 4 day long on snow camp in order to prepare for the season. Almost all of the terrain at PCM is open, including Jupiter Peak, which many of our groups have already been ripping. Little Kings terrain park also opened this past week, giving our athletes a great space to work on their slopestyle fundamentals. Freestyle Moguls Fresh Off a Trip to the Okanagn Valley Freestyle Moguls • December 24, 2025|||Despite a slow start to winter, the FIS Freestyle team made the most of available conditions through productive preseason training and FIS competitions. Winter arrived late in BC, and just before our trip, the weather cooperated, allowing Apex Resort to make snow and open their mogul course as the first skiable run on the mountain. Skimo Trying to Find Snow to Go Up So It Can Come Down Ski Mountaineering • December 24, 2025|||According to Skimo Director Adam Loomis, the 2026 winter season is shaping up to be an exciting one for PCSS Skimo, even as snow coverage continues to lag behind the calendar. As of December, the program has grown to 40 youth athletes and 17 masters, marking another strong year of momentum for the team.
