PCSS relies on parent and adult volunteers—both on and off the hill—to deliver world-class programming. To encourage participation, each family must pay a volunteer work deposit in winter program registration.
The number of required volunteer hours varies by division and program level. For families with multiple athletes, the deposit is based on the program requiring the most volunteer hours.
Work deposit refunds are issued after the winter season ends, provided all required hours are completed and verified. This is an all-or-nothing policy: no partial refunds are given for incomplete hours. Volunteer hours are tracked In the Playmetrics app –1 point = 1 hour. Completed between May 1 and April 30 will count toward the current winter season.
