Competition Season Has Arrived for the Freestyle Team

It's been a busy month for the Freestyle mogul team. We started the new year off by traveling to Aspen for a 4 day long on snow camp in order to prepare for the season. The Aspen course was ripping and we had great training conditions for the duration of the camp. We were able to get some good work accomplished in our short time there in order to prepare for the season.

After Aspen we had a stint at home working on the jump site while the snowmaking crew worked tirelessly to make enough snow to build our full course. Huge shoutout to the UOP staff who worked hard along with the PCSS staff to build, if I might say, the best mogul course we have ever built on the intermediate hill!

We finished with the course build just in time for us to host the first IMF regional mogul/dual mogul competition of the season! Overall the competition went smoothly, minus a wind delay for Sundays competition. Huge shoutout to the following PCSS athletes for their top 10 performances in the competition.

Looking ahead - The regional team is heading to Sun Valley for their second regional competition January 30th-February 1st and the FIS team is currently in Apex, BC for the first NorAm competition of the season!
