Summer Jumping Incoming

After an especially long, albeit productive spring, summer ski jumping is about to get ramped up. Our official start of summer falls June 8 and the first week of school break for PCSD students. We'll have athletes flying on four of our six ski jumps ranging from our smallest 10m to the Olympic sized 90m jump.

We're particularly excited to have new programs and structures this summer. Our newly revamped Devo program is already in swing, with these athletes benefitting from access to the US Ski Team's Center of Excellence for gym training alongside our Comp Team athletes. They'll be excited to get on the jumps after a few weeks of technique focused training and a long break since the winter session.

Our youngest athletes on the jump will be the first participants in our new block program, offering one month options to concentrate jumping. We also offer drop-in options for athletes who need even more flexibility or are just looking to try out the sport for the first time. Drop-ins can be purchased here.

Looking ahead, camps and comps get going in a hurry. At the end of the month, we'll be off to Steamboat for the annual Jumpin' & Jammin' Fourth of July week-long camp. Immediately following that, the 27th annual Springer Tournee kicks off - July 6 - 11. This will be the earliest that we've had Springer Tournee, but we're excited with the back-to-back schedule this year. Fans, interested volunteers and anyone looking for a fun evening - mark your calendar for the evening of July 11th. Come up to the UOP that evening to watch our Spin-the-wheel target jump competition on the Olympic Large Hill Jump and stay for live music, food trucks and beer and wine. Stay tuned for more details!
