3rd Place 3 Peat for Jackson Crockett
May 27, 2026
Athlete spotlight: Jackson Crockett
Jackson Crockett has been a longtime member of Park City Ski & Snowboard and continues to represent the program at the highest levels in freestyle skiing. Over the last three years, Jackson has earned podium finishes at the U.S. National Championships, including two podiums in dual moguls and a podium finish this past season in moguls. His three National Championship podiums came at events held in Waterville Valley and Palisades Tahoe. The U.S. National Championships feature the top qualified athletes from across the country, including members of the U.S. Ski Team, making his consistency at the event especially notable. These year-end championship events come at the conclusion of a long competitive season in which Jackson has consistently performed well through the year. Carrying that momentum into Nationals and continuing to perform against the country's top athletes speaks to both his consistency and competitive ability over the course of an entire season.
Jackson also represented the United States at the 2025 Winter World University Games, where he earned a bronze medal with a 3rd-place finish in Dual Moguls. Competing on the international stage added another major accomplishment to an already impressive career.
"It's always great to see an athlete perform to their potential," said Head Coach Sam Tarrant. "To have the consistency to podium at the national level for three straight years is incredibly impressive.". Assistant Coach Eric Loughran also highlighted Jackson's continued development as a competitor. "Jackson has put in a lot of work over the years, and it shows in both his skiing and competitive mindset," Loughran said. "He's learned to handle pressure, trust his training, and perform when it matters."
Jackson has been a valued part of the PCSS community for many years, and his success continues to highlight the strength of the moguls program. His performances on the national and international stage have brought great recognition to the club and set a strong example for younger athletes coming up through the program.
