Regional team: Two weeks ago PCSS and the UOP hosted US Freestyle Junior Nationals, where 200+ of the nations top mogul and aerial athletes competed in a week long event. Despite extremely challenging conditions due to a low snow pack mixed with 70 degree weather, the UOP and PCSS teams rallied together and managed to put on an awesome event for these young athletes. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the UOP and all their staff for their extraordinary efforts the week prior and during the competition to help make sure we could pull this event off. We could not have hosted the comp without their support.

During the event, PCSS athletes showed up and put down some very solid performances on their home turf. We would like to congratulate the following PCSS athletes on their exceptional performances:

Mason Schwarzenbach- 1st place in U15 mens single moguls/ U15 Junior National champion!

Reese Hughes- 3rd palce in U15 women's dual moguls

Charlotte Provan- 2nd place in U15 women's overall competition! (combination of Moguls, dual moguls and aerials) and 1st palce in the U15 women's Aerial competition.

Billy Brown- 1st in dual moguls and 1st in singles for U19 men and Junior National champion!

Brad Manns- 2nd in dual moguls and 2nd in singles for U19 men!

FIS team: The FIS team recently wrapped up their Eastern NorAm tour with stops in Val St Come and Stratton Mountain. The team battled some very challenging and firm conditions in VSC, but despite that we had 3 women qualify into the top 16, with Anabel Ayad snagging 3rd place overall!

Next up was the Stratton Mountain NorAm. In the singles day, we had 6 of our women qualify for finals in the top 16, with Kareema Wakim leading the charge with a 6th place finish. In Duals day, 4 PCSS women made it into the top 16, with Dory Michaud narrowly missing out on the podium with a 4th place finish. Overall, the team skied great and we are extremely proud of how everyone skied.

The FIS team is currently in Tahoe competing in the US Freestyle Championships, so stay tuned for results!
