We value the pursuit of excellence, teamwork, ethical behavior, leadership, and sportsmanship, with program goals measured by success and development at all levels of the USSA alpine pipeline while providing all Park City youth with alpine sports opportunities.

What is Alpine Ski Racing?

Alpine ski racing is an action-packed sport combining speed, agility, balance, coordination, and tactics. It features two technical events: Slalom and Giant Slalom, and two speed events: Super G and Downhill.. Youth age categories and events include:

  • U10 (Devo) - Slalom, Giant Slalom
  • U12 (South Series) - Slalom, Giant Slalom
  • U14 (Jr IMC) - Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G
  • U16 (IMC) - Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G
  • U18-U21 (FIS) - Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G, Downhill
  • U22+ (Masters) - Slalom, Giant Slalom


We offer a range of comprehensive alpine programs running from 3-6 days to meet the ability needs of all athletes.   New athletes to any program are subject to a ski assessment prior to registration.

Take your first step into alpine ski racing with our fun, skill-building Devo Program for 9–10-year-olds—where young athletes develop fundamentals that set the stage for future success.

Join our South Series Team for 10–13-year-olds and build racing skills, friendships, and a love of skiing through 3, 4, or 5-day training options that prepare athletes for the next step in alpine competition.

JR IMC offers 3–6 day/week alpine ski racing programs for ages 12–15, combining skill development, team camaraderie, and high-level training.

IMC offers 3–6 day/week alpine racing programs for ages 14–15, with the 6-day track focused on U16 Intermountain Cup competition, advanced training, and team travel.

FIS

FIS programs offer athletes 16+ up to 6 days/week of elite training and competition, with tailored tracks from first-year racers to post-graduates aiming for NCAA, national, and international success.

Our Purpose

Athletic participation helps students grow, learn, and have fun while building their personal, physical, and intellectual skills. We value the lessons it teaches—pursuing excellence through personal growth and teamwork, demonstrating integrity on and off the hill, following rules, showing leadership, and practicing sportsmanship through respect, humility in victory, and grace in defeat. Our program’s goals are measured by both success and athlete development at every level of the USSA alpine pipeline, while ensuring all Park City youth have access to alpine sports opportunities.

Youth Development

Young athletes ages 6–9 discover the excitement of alpine racing while building a strong foundation through fun, skill-focused training that develops fundamentals and sparks a lifelong love of the sport.

Learn to Train

Athletes ages 10–13 grow their skills, confidence, and love for alpine skiing through progressive training, exciting races, and the camaraderie of teammates and coaches. Building on strong fundamentals, they log plenty of skiing miles, focus on learning technique in gate training, and enjoy the fun, friendships, and all-mountain adventures that prepare them for the next level of competition.

Train to Compete

Athletes ages 12–21 take their racing to the next level with programs that build advanced technical skills, strength, and race strategy while competing in high-level regional, national, and international events. From Jr IMC to IMC and FIS, these teams train multiple days per week, combine on-snow and dryland conditioning, and gain valuable experience in gates, all-mountain skiing, and competition. With dedicated coaching, targeted race calendars, and the camaraderie of teammates, athletes develop the performance, resilience, and confidence to reach their highest potential in alpine skiing.

Active for Life

For athletes 20+, Masters programming keeps athletes engaged in their sport beyond their competitive peak, providing opportunities to train, race, and enjoy skiing for a lifetime. Masters athletes focus on skill development, fitness, and community, whether they’re new to racing or seasoned veterans.
