Train to Compete • 12-14 years

Program Details

The U14 Program offers multi-day training designed to expand skills developed in our Devo and U12 teams while preparing athletes for higher-level racing. Athletes ages 12–14 (as of Dec 31) may choose from 4-, 5-, or 6-day weekly options, all racing in the same series as one unified team.

The 4-day program emphasize mileage, fun, and skill progression, with an option to add fall dryland training. The 5-day program, for 2014 birth years, includes structured conditioning, weekday and weekend sessions, and extra training during school breaks. The 6-day program, for 2013 birth years, offers the most complete pathway with intensive conditioning and nearly full-time on-snow training. New athletes require a ski assessment before joining.

How Much Training is the Right Fit?
As weekly commitment increases, so does the overall training load.

  • 4-day option emphasize development, mileage, fun, and skill progression.
  • 5- and 6-day options are for athletes ready for more structure, conditioning, and a greater year-round commitment.

Families should choose the option that best matches their athlete’s age, goals, and readiness for training. New athletes require a Ski Assessment before joining.

If none of these options feels like the right fit for your athlete, consider the Home Team, which offers less travel and more local racing opportunities.
