Skillz ’n’ Thrillz is an exciting program for enthusiastic 7- and 8-year-olds who want to improve their skiing while having a blast with kids their age. Focused on building turning and terrain skills, athletes will ski brush gates, stubbies, and full courses featuring mini SG, GS, and SL sets over varied terrain. With up to 12 runs a night, kids learn timing, balance, and technique naturally through guided turns, small jumps, and fun challenges.

An optional Sunday add-on at Deer Valley provides extra mileage and reinforces skills in a free-skiing environment. Kids ready for more can also try Youth Ski League (YSL) races—fun, low-key events requiring a U.S. Ski & Snowboard U10 Competitor’s License. These low-key races are a great way for kids to test their skills, gain confidence, and enjoy the excitement of skiing with friends.
