Masters
PCSS Masters gives adults 18+ the chance to pursue alpine racing, cross-country skiing, and ski mountaineering in a supportive community—welcoming everyone from first-time racers to former Olympians.
What is Masters?
The PCSS Masters programs give adults 18+ the opportunity to pursue ski racing, cross-country skiing, and ski mountaineering in a supportive and challenging environment. Masters welcomes all levels—from first-time racers to former Olympians—offering both recreational and competitive opportunities.
PCSS offers Masters programs in alpine racing, cross country, and ski mountaineering. Alpine Masters train gates three days a week at the Utah Olympic Park, Nordic Masters focus on 75–90 minute skate ski workouts to build technique and fitness, and Skimo Masters hone uphill and downhill skills with early morning sessions on West Peak terrain. All Masters athletes are also eligible to participate in PCSS’s seasonal Strength & Conditioning program, with training blocks offered year-round at the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Center of Excellence.

Our Purpose
The PCSS Masters programs exist to give adults a lifelong pathway in skiing —whether their goals are fitness, skill development, competition, or simply the joy of being on snow. By providing professional coaching, structured training, and a welcoming community, Masters helps athletes of all levels continue to grow in alpine racing, cross country, and ski mountaineering. Our purpose is to support every participant—from first-time racers to former Olympians—in pursuing their personal goals, staying active year-round, and fostering a deep connection to winter sport.
