Devo, Junior Comp, and Comp Team athletes develop endurance, technique, and well-rounded fitness through rollerskiing, running, hiking, agility, and fun multisport sessions that support long-term growth.

Summer Conditioning for Cross Country Athletes

Cross Country summer training at PCSS gives athletes a variety of ways to stay active, build endurance, and develop technique before winter.


Devo athletes are encouraged to stay engaged by joining Adventure & Agility or Mountain Biking—offered weekly or all summer. Junior Comp athletes follow a structured summer program centered on rollerskiing, endurance development, and refining technique as they progress toward Comp Team.


Comp Team athletes train consistently through rollerskiing, strength, and multisport conditioning, and those seeking additional work can join the Endurance Athlete Strength & Conditioning sessions. Each pathway supports long-term XC growth and a strong transition into fall training.

Junior Comp Team

Junior Comp Team

Junior Comp helps experienced skiers ages 12-16 build technique, endurance, and training habits through rollerskiing, running, strength, and sessions with the Comp Team.

Competition Team

Competitive Team athletes train 5–7 days per week through rollerskiing, running, strength, agility, and over-distance sessions to develop the fitness and technique required for winter racing.

Endurance Athlete Strength & Conditioning

Endurance Athlete Strength & Conditioning builds strength, stability, and muscular endurance at the US Ski & Snowboard Center of Excellence, with 1–2 day-per-week spring, summer, and fall options for Skimo racers and other endurance athletes ages 13+.

Adventure & Agility keeps young athletes active with rollerskiing, running, hiking, agility, games, and ropes courses. A playful, varied program that builds strength, coordination, confidence, and all-around fitness all summer long.

PCSS Mountain Biking lets young riders explore Park City’s trails through XC rides, skills sessions, and gravity fundamentals. A fun, progression-focused camp that builds confidence, fitness, and strong bike-handling all summer long.
