Freeski/Freeride Summer
Freeski and Freeride athletes progress their skills through water ramp and airbag training, trampolines, strength sessions, and Woodward activities that build confidence, control, and year-round readiness for winter.
Summer Training for Freeski & Freeride Athletes
Freeski and Freeride athletes have a full range of summer training opportunities designed to build strength, air awareness, and skill progression before winter. The High Performance Training program offers full-time and part-time pathways that combine water ramp or airbag sessions, strength training at the US Ski & Snowboard Center of Excellence, and weekly trampoline and inline skating at Woodward.
Younger athletes can join Development Training, an age-appropriate U14 program blending weekly ramp, airbag, and Woodward sessions for safe, steady progression. Athletes looking for focused skill work can add Woodward Wednesdays or Strength & Conditioning, while those seeking snow time can join on-snow camps in Mammoth, Mt. Hood, New Zealand, Europe, and more. Together, these programs support well-rounded, long-term freeski progression.
