Junior Jump Camp
Youth Summer Camps • 7-14 years
Program Details
Junior Jump Camp introduces young athletes to Nordic ski jumping in a supportive environment designed for beginners and developing jumpers. Mornings focus on the fundamentals—the ABCs of athletics, balance, and movement—followed by sessions on the small Nordic hills where campers learn proper technique with hands-on coaching. Athletes progress at a comfortable pace, gaining confidence as they practice takeoffs, inrun position, and controlled landings.
Off-hill activities use the Utah Olympic Park’s facilities to keep the experience varied and enjoyable, and the camp includes a half-day outing to another local venue for additional exploration. The program blends skill development with fun, giving new jumpers the chance to try something unique while building coordination, courage, and enthusiasm for Nordic jumping.
