Program Details
Junior Comp is designed for experienced Cross Country skiers ages 12–16 who want to continue developing technique, endurance, and training habits throughout the spring, summer and/or fall. Athletes train three days per week, with sessions that include rollerskiing, running, strength work, and occasional joint practices with the Comp Team.
The program emphasizes refining classic and skate technique, building aerobic capacity, and learning how to train consistently within a supportive, positive team environment. Junior Comp provides a meaningful bridge between Devo and the Comp Team by giving motivated athletes the structure, challenge, and coaching they need to progress toward more advanced racing and year-round training expectations.

Seasonal Options: Spring, Summer & Fall
Junior Comp athletes can stay engaged year-round through three seasonal training blocks—Spring, Summer, and Fall—each offering structured rollerskiing, running, strength, and technique development. Athletes who want additional activity in the summer can also join Adventure & Agility
or Mountain Biking, which help maintain fitness and support well-rounded athletic development alongside their regular Junior Comp training.
