Program Details
Our Ski Mountaineering Race Team is for athletes ready to take their skills to the next level, with opportunities to compete at regional, national, and even international events. Weekly sessions focus on developing advanced technique, building strength and endurance, and preparing mentally for competition. Athletes will also gain valuable experience traveling to races as a team, fostering camaraderie and support.
A highlight of the program is a monthly half-day weekend tour, giving athletes the chance to apply their skills in real backcountry settings (conditions permitting). This program supports individual growth while preparing athletes for success in skimo racing. Prior experience in ski mountaineering is required, and a background in cross-country skiing, mountain biking, or alpine skiing is highly beneficial.
