Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Ski Jumping Summer • 9+ years (adults welcome)

Program Details

Private and Semi-Private Lessons give athletes a personalized introduction to ski jumping, offering hands-on coaching in a controlled and supportive setting. Private lessons provide one-on-one instruction (or a small group of up to four), with dedicated facility access and focused skill development. Semi-private lessons are held alongside club training sessions, allowing athletes to learn in a group environment while still receiving individualized coaching.

Both options cover essential skills such as inrun position, balanced flight, safe landings, and fundamental athletic movement. Athletes may use their own alpine equipment or try club ski jumping gear. Lessons run from June through October and are suitable for youth and adults who want to explore ski jumping or strengthen early technique before entering a team program.

Private or Semi-Private?
Choosing between private and semi-private lessons depends on your athlete’s learning style and comfort level.

Private lessons offer one-on-one coaching or a personal small group of up to four athletes, with full facility access and the fastest rate of skill progression—ideal for newcomers who want individualized attention. For groups larger than four, please contact < href="mailto:aloomis@parkcityss.org">Adam Loomis to discuss options.

Semi-private lessons pair up to three athletes with a dedicated coach during club training times, offering a more social environment while still providing focused instruction. Both options allow athletes to use their own alpine equipment or try club ski jumping gear, making it easy to explore the sport before joining a team.
