Competitive Team
Ski Jumping Summer • 12-21 years
Program Details
The Competitive Team supports Level 3
and Level 4
athletes through a clear, progressive training pathway that runs from spring dryland into summer and fall hill development. Spring sessions build strength, mobility, and basic movement patterns before athletes transition into summer training, which includes multiple weekly jumping sessions, technique blocks, dryland conditioning, and COE strength for eligible athletes.
Level 3 athletes train primarily on HS40 and HS68 hills, while Level 4 athletes move to HS100 and HS134 as skills allow. Fall training increases intensity with additional strength work and consistent large-hill jumping to help athletes build power and readiness for the winter competition season. This program supports advancement toward divisional races, Junior Nationals, national championships, and international development events.

Level 3 or Level 4?
The Competitive Team offers two training levels so families can match hill size, skill progression, and readiness to their athlete’s development.
Level 3 suits athletes building consistency on the HS40 and HS68 hills. Training emphasizes strong fundamentals—balanced inrun position, confident takeoffs, stable flight, and safe landings—while athletes continue developing strength and technique.
Level 4 is for athletes progressing toward the HS100 and HS134 hills. It includes more advanced technical work, strength training, and higher jumping volume for those preparing for higher-level competition.
Coaches will guide families in selecting the appropriate level to support safe, confident progression.
