Program Details
PCSS’s Competition Team is a 5–6 day-a-week program for advanced athletes (ages 14–18) who are ready to train for performance in a positive, team-driven environment. Designed for 9th–12th graders, the program also welcomes highly motivated 8th graders racing in the U16 category and post-graduate athletes by coach recommendation.
Athletes follow a periodized training plan built on U.S. Ski & Snowboard Cross Country Training System Phases 5 and 6, focusing on endurance, technique, and strength. The program includes two weekly strength sessions at the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Center of Excellence, with one held before school. Participants can choose to enroll in Fall & Winter (starting mid-August) or Winter only (starting in November), with opportunities for team travel to Intermountain Division competitions.
