Junior Comp
Learn to Train • 12-16 years
Program Details
The Junior Comp program is designed for experienced skiers ages 12–16 who are passionate about improving their skills and exploring more racing opportunities. This program bridges the gap to the PCSS Comp Team, offering a focused training environment for athletes looking to take the next step. Participation is by coach recommendation to ensure the right fit and readiness for this level.
Athletes train three days per week, with select sessions alongside the Comp Team, and are encouraged to complete additional workouts on their own. The curriculum follows U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s Cross Country Training System Phases 3 and 4, emphasizing technique development, endurance, and sound training principles—all while promoting fun, sportsmanship, and strong character.
