PCSS offers the following summer dryland programs:

PNP Dryland

Get to work in the offseason. Build on the success you had last winter and come into the next season stronger and more explosive with PCSS’s new strength coach Will Horstmann, alongside Leah Stroud, Certified trainer and Head Park & Pipe coach. Will has a Master's degree in Applied Sport Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, he has worked with NCAA track & field and soccer teams has experience working alongside US Ski Team strength coaches, and was the High-Performance Director for Stratton Mountain School before coming to join PCSS. Get stoked and ready to bring some thunder!

Our Dryland program will teach athletes about ski-specific strength, power, balance, core strength, knee stabilization, landing patterns, and preoperative rehabilitation through basic to advanced training

Athletes are expected to take dryland seriously, be on time, and attend every scheduled session with their best effort. All training sessions are aimed to be a short and effective, 90 minutes. (Groups will be limited to 20)

  • Weeks Offered: June 5 - November 17*
  • Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 4:00-5:30pm, Friday 3:30-5:00pm** (Times Subject to Change)

BMT Dryland

Get to work This offseason with Head Big Mountain Skills Team Coach, Sarah Taylor, and PCSS’ new head strength coach Will Horstmann. Sarah has a Master’s in Health and Kinesiology, is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified USA Weightlifting Coach, and has years of experience working with athletes on individual and group levels. Will has a Masters degree in Applied Sport Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, he has worked with NCAA track & field and soccer teams has experience working alongside US Ski Team strength coaches, and was the High-Performance Director for Stratton Mountain School before coming to join PCSS.

Big Mountain Dryland is designed to build athletes up and get them ready for the upcoming ski season. In this program, athletes will be training 2 days per week in strength, conditioning, and agility, all designed for their specific sport. We will be working on injury prevention, power, stability, appropriate force exertion, and techniques for staying physically healthy and active all season long. We also hope to bring more awareness to the importance of strength and conditioning for your sport, even when you are not in season.
