Shredders (Ages 7-10)

This twelve-week program offers younger skiers and riders an opportunity to explore multiple winter sports and the iconic venues at the Utah Olympic Park.  PCSShredders get to sample the best that PCSS has to offer in Alpine, Nordic Ski Jumping, Cross Country skiing and Freestyle/Freeski. The focus of the program is on introducing athletes to unique and challenging on-snow environments with an emphasis on skill building, collaboration, positive feedback and fun.

The core program is divided into four, discipline specific modules during which athletes focus on fundamentals and ski techniques in alpine, nordic ski jumping, cross country and freestyle/freeski at the Utah Olympic Park.

The PCSShredders program is made possible in part by generous support from the Bill McGrath Memorial Fund.

This program is a great fit for young athletes looking for an introduction to fundamentals across winter sport disciplines, athletes looking to build skiing/snowboarding skill as a compliment to participation in another sport (soccer, swimming, baseball etc.,) or/and anyone looking for an introduction to a fun and collaborative team environment that deemphasizes competition.
