Boardercross (SBX)
PCSS offers a Full Time SBX program for riders committed to a full season (16-weeks Monday through Friday, of BoarderCross training and competition. This program is by acceptance only due to possible staff limitations. Please contact us to confirm our ability to accomodate you within our training team.
We are primarily a NorAm focused group/Team but with sufficient notice may also accommodate other scenarios (World Cup/etc.) Please send an email/letter of interest and/or inquiry to the PCSS Snowboard Program Director, Rick Shimpeno.

The program will focus on the technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills required to succeed. We will cover all aspects of BoarderCross racing. The SBX Full Time Team will also offer an in-season strength/agility maintenance training program If desired as a supplement to an individuals year-long training regimen.
The PCSS SBX program aims to create a safe environment for committed snowboarders to develop their BoarderCross skills and compete at the highest levels. Our goal is to develop well-rounded riders with CONFIDENCE, VERSATILITY AND ADAPTABILITY.

- Previous results
- Any of other relevant details
Upon review, acceptance is determined by PCSS staff based on commitment to our program, existing team riders, staff availability, etc.

Acceptance to the SBX program is not guaranteed and based upon Snowboard Program Director and Lead SBX coach confirmation. SBX program admission is based on staffing, space availability, program commitment, compatible groups and dynamics, all of which will be discussed thoroughly during any team inquiry phase.

Additional Information
We are primarily a Nor Am focused training Team. Our schedule and season are based on the Nor Am schedule. Individual schedules may be altered as needed, but home based training may not be available/provided if athletes choose to miss a Team calendared event as staff would be traveling.
- We have successfully accommodated athletes who have World Cup entry spots.
- Early interest and commitment to the team are crucial in securing the highest caliber staff.
- Team Fees need to be paid in full prior to start. Payment plans can start as early as July, but still need to be paid in full prior to program start.
