At the very core of our ski racing philosophy is our Devo Program. The Devo Program is designed for 9-10-year-old athletes and can provide their first steps into a full-time alpine competitive environment.  Many athletes enter our Devo program from other community and resort offerings and our PCSS Shredders & Skiills 'n' Drills programs.  Our goal is to create a fun, safe, and exciting environment to build fundamental skills that will prepare the athlete for the future of alpine ski racing.

Entry into the Devo program is by coaches' recommendation only.  An athlete's skiing skills will be assessed at our Placement Day on the first Saturday in December.  Our Devo skiing assessment is a general skills assessment of an athlete’s stance and balance, as well as edging and rotary movements.  Athletes not receiving placement within PCSS Programming will receive a recommendation towards other PCSS programs or resort offerings for the upcoming season.

Eligible athletes must be 9 by Dec 31st (YOB 2015). Please get in touch with the Alpine Office if you have an athlete (YOB 2014) who is interested in the Devo program. Entry into the Devo program is by coach's recommendation only; athletes' skiing will be assessed in early April 2024.
